The Rebbe of Sanz-Klausenburg – Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Halberstam

Rabbi Halberstam was the first Rebbe of the Sanz-Klausenburg Hasidic dynasty, which originated from the Sanz Hasidic tradition. He led the dynasty from 1946 until his passing in 1994.

He was the founder of Kiryat Sanz in Netanya and Laniado Hospital. Rabbi Halberstam also served as a rabbi and head of a yeshiva.
